MEPI-LAA Capacity Building Project

In the presence of Randall Kaailau, MEPI Coordinator for Lebanon, the Lebanese Development Network (LDN) celebrated the closing of the MEPI-Lebanon Alumni Association’s Capacity Building Project during a ceremony attended by US Embassy officials, MEPI-LAA Executive Committee and a group of MEPI-LAA members.

The event was inaugurated by a welcome note addressed by Eliane Fersan, MEPI Program Specialist, who described the project as being a unique achievement among other MEPI chapters while acknowledging the efforts made by all contributors to its success.

LDN President, Amin Nehme, focused in his speech on the high spirit which prevailed all through the project and made of the group a winning team.

Ramzi Hage, MEPI-LAA newly elected President, invited all members to participate in the future progress  of the organization and stressed on the importance of the alumni ownership in keeping it as prominent as they want it to be.

MEPI Coordinator for Lebanon, Randall Kaailau, closed the ceremony by addressing the audience with a clear message about the immense support MEPI USA is providing to the program and the hope placed on MEPI-LAA being regarded as a model for other chapters in the region.
