My name is Dima Nashawi. I am Syrian and I have an experience of five years in UNHCR as community services field worker. My work was to identify vulnerable refugees, women subjected to violence and elderly and disabled with specific needs.
I was specialized in following on cases of children exploited and support them through social means. I also worked with stack holders in implementing programs to empower refugees' self- reliance.
I have a volunteering experience with children with cancer and afterwards with women involved in civilian activities.
Finally, I have established couple of fundraising events which combined children's writing and art exhibitions in Damascus/Syria.
