LDN Joins the World Justice Project (WJP)

In an effort to contribute to strengthening the efficiency and effectiveness of the rule of law on both the local and international levels, the Lebanese Development Network (LDN) joined the World Justice Project (WJP).

WJP is an American independent, multidisciplinary organization "working to advance the rule of law around the world" through three programs — Research and Scholarship, the WJP Rule of Law Index, and Engagement.

It seeks to increase public awareness about the foundational importance of the rule of law, stimulate government reforms, and develop practical programs at the community level.

WJP’s mutually-reinforcing lines of business employ a multidisciplinary approach through original research and data, an active and global network, and practical, locally-led programs to advance the rule of law worldwide.

Founded in 2006 by William H. Neukom, WJP started as a presidential initiative of the American Bar Association and became an independent non-profit organization in 2009. Its offices are located in Washington, D.C., and Seattle, Washington, USA.
