Trait d’Union Association is established under decree No. 1897 and under associations regulations published on August 3th 1909. Trait d’Union is a nongovernmental, non-profit association. Trait d’Union is established by a group of young people engaged in environmental work in all Lebanese regions: Trait d’Union will be involved in the following matters: - Development of a healthy environment. - Establishing a dialogue between religions and activating the co-existence. - Taking care of poor people materially, intellectually, culturally, and legally. - Helping the students and literacy by equipping schools, help building schools or managing them. - Activating industrial and agricultural projects in the small villages in order to minimize the migration towards big cities. - Spreading the Human Rights and environment culture. To finance these projects, Trait d’Union would rely on: - Individual donations. - Projects presented to local and International associations and Embassies. - Cooperating with concerned ministries. - Cooperating with municipalities and NGO.
