The Regional Office in Beirut is a part of the Middle East and North Africa program at Amnesty International- International Secretariat. The office which was established in 1999 bases its strategies and activities on the vision and mission of Amnesty International and is especially inspired by the goals of AI’s International Human Rights Education Strategy and works towards achieving them.
In doing so, the office aims at becoming a hub for human rights education and capacity building in the region in addition to offering relevant resources for diversified target audiences.
