The ‘TOGETHER’ project - Towards a Cultural Understanding of the other - was officially launched during an online meeting organized by Lead Partner organization CulturePolis, Greece.

It gathered representatives of the various parties involved in the consortium and aimed at discussing the different components of the implementation framework, including among others, the intellectual outputs, the distribution of tasks, as well as the calendar of activities.

The virtual meeting started with a welcome note by the President and Legal Representative of CulturePolis Prof.  Vasileios LAOPODIS, followed by personal introductions about the partners’ organizational profiles.

In turn, Project Manager Xanthippi KONTOGANNI presented the agenda of the meeting which was succeeded by a general presentation about the project. An open discussion took place afterwards. 

‘TOGETHER’ is a two-year project that derives from the need to create the bonds, establish the appropriate awareness, and promote the common values vis-a-vis the intercultural dialogue between the EU and the neighbouring countries.

It seeks to empower all sectors in society through building bridges between people, reinforcing mutual understanding, and boosting economic and social development to enable Europe and its neighbours face the common challenges, and achieve social cohesion and sustainability.

The project falls under the EU Strategic Partnerships in the Field of Education, Training and Youth - Key Action 2 (KA2): Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices.

The Consortium is comprised of: CulturePolis – Greece, A.B. Institute of Entrepreneurship Development LTD (IED) – Cyprus, Eworx Ypiresies Ilektronikou Epicheirein Anonymos Etaireia (EWORX) – Greece, Fattoria Pugliese Diffusa Associazione Culturale (FPD) – Italy, Georgian Arts & Culture Center (GACC) – Georgia, and the Lebanese Development Network (LDN) – Lebanon.
