The international jury of the "A Sea of Words 2020" has announced the 10 best stories from the 13th edition of the Youth Euro-Mediterranean Literary Contest, which this year received 138 stories from young people from 30 countries.

Under the motto of this year’s edition,"Young People Faced with Climate Change in the Mediterranean and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development", the stories selected cover a wide range of topics about the environmental changes that are transforming the lives of the people and societies in which they live.

All 10 winners will have their stories published in a digital anthology and will have the opportunity to visit Barcelona on September to attend the official awards ceremony, where the 3 first prizes will be announced. In addition, during their stay, all of them will take part in a literary workshop.

The contest is organised annually since 2018 by the IEMed with the collaboration of the Anna Lindh Foundation. Under the motto of this year’s edition, “Young People Faced with Climate Change in the Mediterranean and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development", the stories selected cover a wide range of topics about the environmental changes that are transforming the lives of the people and societies in which they live.
