Laura Vorpsi was born in Tirana on October 15, 1986. In 2009 she graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana, with the title "Lawyer" with excellent results. In 2011, he completed his "Master" studies in European Law and is employed full-time internal lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Department of Civil Law, respectively in the subjects: "Private International Law" and "Social Protection".
Since 2011, she has been assisting as an external lecturer at the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana, Department of Finance and Economics, head of the course "Business Law". During the period 2009-2014, she is a participant in a considerable number of conferences inside and outside the country and author of several scientific articles published in scientific, national and international journals. Laura Vorpsi is fluent in English, German and Italian.
In 2012, she was appointed spokesperson for the Democratic Party of Albania, a position she resigned from to attend a training session in the German Bundestag with the parliamentary group of the Christian Democratic Union, namely the vice-president of the CDU, Mr. Andreas Schockenhoff.
In November 2014, she received the vote of confidence of the National Council of the Democratic Party to head the department of European Integration. In March 2015, Vorpsi defended her scientific degree "Doctor" (PhD), on European private law.
