On January 15, 2021, Lebanon entered a new phase of full lockdown. Siren Analytics developed a new module for the Inter-Ministerial/Municipal Platform for Assessment, Coordination and Tracking (IMPACT) embedded on https://covid.pcm.gov.lb for citizens to request mobility permits during the lockdown.

The new module received significant media coverage and triggered engagement with citizens on social media. It has been receiving an average of 100,000 daily requests. Developments and improvements on the platform are integrated constantly to provide citizens with the best possible experience while helping the authorities enforce the lockdown.

Siren Analytics conducted a phone survey from January 16 to 22, 2021 with a random sample of 390 users to assess their experience with the platform and their compliance with the rules. The study showed that:
• An overwhelming majority (82%) did not face any technical difficulty when submitting a request;
• Response was received in less than one minute in more than 60% of the cases;
• The platform was praised as an efficient, useful and user-friendly tool; and
• Half of the respondents have been stopped at an ISF checkpoint to verify the validity of the permit delivered through the platform.
