In an endeavor to enhance organizational capacity, The Lebanese AIDS Network Association (LANA) conducted a two-day reflection workshop at Padova Hotel, Beirut.

The meeting aimed to develop the Sustainability Plan of the Network, improve its administrative functions, and advance its managerial and operational structures. It stresses as well LANA’s long-term ability for a constant and impactful presence.

President of the Lebanese Development Network (LDN) Amin Nehme facilitated the sessions mainly addressed to analyze challenges, identify opportunities and create a comprehensive strategic plan.

The seminar was held in collaboration with The Soins Infirmiers et Développement Communautaire (SIDC) and Frontline AIDS MENA. It was attended by representatives of the member organizations as follows: Lebanese Aids Society, SALAMA, AL Tajamoh, Skoun, Vivre Positif, LebMASH, AJEM, Dar Al Amal, MAAN, Marsa, Oui Pour La Vie and SIDC.

LANA’s mission is to unite the efforts of national AIDS associations aiming to reduce the spread of HIV among the general population and the most vulnerable groups in particular, in addition to providing a supportive environment free from stigma and discrimination to people affected by and those living with HIV.
