Assistant Programme Officer (Paid Intern) – Programme Unit for the Integrated Road Map (IRM)

  • Provide regular support to 18 Country Offices (COs) in the region in transitioning through the IRM process.
  • Review, edit and finalize project documents on Country Strategic Plans (CSP), interim country strategic plans (ICSP) transitional ICSP for the COs across the region.
  • Provide support to RB policy and programme activities to effectively address food assistance needs.
  • Assist with archiving Programme Cycle documents on TeamWork Space for Programme Unit.
  • Review project/budget revision documents and ensure consistency of project statistics and logframes for COs.
  • Follow up with Programme Sections and other units to ensure timely technical inputs for project documents.
  • Schedule and help coordinate Programme review meetings for technical review of the project documents through two different forums - electronic review (e-PRP) and strategic programme review process (s-PRP) for regional senior management to show inputs on programme design that are provided at early stages.
  • Monitor the submissions of project documents by COs and track logframes and budget accordingly.
  • Assist Nutrition and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) units with webinar and organising meetings.
