Responsibilities (Assistant General Manager In Agro Food Production Facility – Reporting to GM):

  • Handling the primary part of screening, recruitment and training of prospective employees. And give a field evaluation on their level of productivity.
  • Motivating employees to give their best to AHLOUNA and to achieve the mission and vision assigned.
  • Interacting with junior level employees and get the work done from them by giving tips, suggestions and recommendations by holding 10 minutes meeting every morning and working as a link between the General Manager and the junior team members.
  • Supervises the administration section of the department, including staff and functions of production, transportation, packaging and various office operations.
  • Ensures that the production targets are met (on daily bases).
  • Take in production orders and convey them to the production team and Give regular production reports to General Manager.
  • Ensures that the quality standards of product are met by applying HACCP and ISO standards.
  • Monitors the sales team is maintaining a high quality level of service.
  • Interacting with the clients of AHLOUNA and understand their needs and handling customer queries and complaints and apply immediate corrective actions (If needed).
  • Monitors the annual sales targets set are met.
  • Monitors day-to-day sale account (Account Receivables) and purchase accounts (Account Payable)
  • Assisting in annual budgetary preparations; researches budget needs.
  • Interacting with the accountant to come up with budget plans for a financial year. Also reviewing the finances for every quarter and make changes to the budget if required.
  • Monitoring the Accomplishment of the planned results by communicating and coordinating requirements and evaluating results (especially after seasons).
  • Present a review of the finance requirements and financial status to the General Manager on monthly basis.
  • Monitors procurement process to ensure all the raw material, stationary and office requirements within the deadlines.
  • Providing guidance and support in selection of suppliers and negotiation of contracts.

  • Study the cost schedule for all the items (Goods for Sales) and give suggested prices according to extensive market study with the competitors.
  • Event manager in all the exhibitions, job fair and meetings related to Ahlouna Association.
  • Prepares monthly reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operational and financial data.

  • Reducing Overhead By 30% in first 2 years.
  • Reducing reporting duration from quarterly to monthly.

  • Monthly Reporting to USAID (Fund Project from 2005-2008) including every detail from production to sales and with feedback of customer. This report maintains the fund along these years and has a good impact on the total result of this corporation between USAIDA and CHF to partially fund the construction of 1st floor of the agro food production facility.
