The ‘Lebanese Development Network – LDN’ organized at Radisson Blu Martinez Hotel – Beirut a public seminar entitled “Reflection on Fundraising.”
Delegates from various Lebanese organizations attended the workshop which covered a series of related topics as well as hands-on simulations.
LDN President Amin Nehme presented to the participants the fundamentals of a successful fundraising plan, especially when it is integrated and aligned with the mission of the organization.
NGO representatives were exposed as well to the science of persuasion and the art of storytelling while acquiring an advanced knowledge about how to craft an effective personal method in service of their overall fundraising strategy.
The workshop created space for participants to take stock of the value that their work provides for their communities, and explored how organizations can cultivate a deep, healthy relationship with contributions and create a favorable environment where fundraising is an act of love rather than just soliciting for money.
